Catenna Media Appoints Eric Eaton as Interim CFO in Leadership Transition

Catenna Media has designated Eric Eaton, a recognizable figure, as their temporary Chief Financial Officer. Eaton, who briefly occupied the same role from 2019 to 2020, will succeed Peter Messner.

Messner, who revealed his exit in February, has been a part of Catenna Media since 2020. He will remain until June to guarantee a seamless transition.

Eaton contributes extensive expertise, having dedicated 16 years to financial leadership positions within both privately held and publicly traded corporations. His background includes prominent entities like ICA Gruppen and the investment banking powerhouse, Investec. Lately, he has been engaged as a strategic consultant within the international media realm.

Catenna Media’s CEO, Michael Daly, conveyed his trust in Eaton, emphasizing his knowledge and familiarity with the organization as valuable strengths.

This declaration follows Catenna Media’s recent three-year collaboration with Lee Enterprises. This tactical maneuver will see Catenna Media overseeing all of Lee Enterprises’ brands, encompassing their primary website, frontpagebets.com, and broadens their presence across numerous states.

Catenna Media is concluding a successful 2022, reporting a 7% rise in revenue, reaching a total of €110.1 million.

At the beginning of the year, GiG Group acquired a collection of casino evaluation websites previously held by Catena Media. This included prominent platforms such as Askgamblers.com, Johnslots.com, and newcasinos.com, in addition to several lesser-known entities.
