Aristocrat Leisure Reports Soaring Profits and Continued Growth Momentum in FY21

Gaming giant, Aristocrat Leisure, announced robust financial performance for the fiscal year concluding September 30, 2021. The firm witnessed a remarkable 81% increase in normalized profit after tax and amortization (NPATA). Further highlighting the potency of their primary business, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) surged by a substantial 43%.

This triumph can be linked to Aristocrat’s continuous expenditures in game creation, innovation, and technological progress. These calculated actions have proven fruitful, enabling the company to secure a larger portion of the market within its core operations and throughout its varied range of games and merchandise.

The corporation has been particularly dedicated to broadening and diversifying its product selection, a tactic that has clearly contributed to its strong showing over the preceding year. Looking forward, Aristocrat intends to further strengthen its dominant position in the gaming operations sector. This encompasses expanding their footprint in crucial global gaming equipment markets and propelling sustained growth in digital reservations through their Pixel United platform. To bolster these ambitious objectives, Aristocrat is dedicated to investing significantly in design and development, potentially surpassing their past investment rates of 11-12%.

Trevor Croker, Aristocrat’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, conveyed assurance in the company’s expansion strategy, remarking that their accomplishments this year are a clear indication of its successful execution.

We maintained a sharp concentration on crafting exceptional offerings, securing premier expertise, and bolstering our fundamental operations. This approach has enabled us to steadily capture a larger portion of the market over the year and realize inherent expansion that surpasses the industry benchmark.

Our accomplishments in the preceding year are reflected in the growth of both our Aristocrat Gaming and Pixel United assortments, in addition to the heightened market presence and financial gains observed across our gaming and product divisions.

Croker also emphasized the three significant accolades Aristocrat garnered at the Global Gaming Awards, including the sought-after Land-Based Industry Supplier of the Year distinction.
