Chickasaw Nation Partners with Koi Tribe on California Casino Resort

The Chickasaw Tribe is collaborating with the Koi Tribe to establish a casino and resort in California. Headquartered in Oklahoma, the Chickasaw will serve as the development associate for the Shiloh Resort & Casino. Initially revealed in September 2021, this endeavor will be overseen and run by Global Gaming Solutions (GGS), a Chickasaw-owned enterprise. GGS already possesses a substantial footprint in the gaming sector, managing the tribe’s thriving WinStar World Casino and Hotel (among the globe’s largest casinos!), in addition to the Remington Park racetrack.

This alliance unites the Koi Nation’s aspirations with the Chickasaw’s vast expertise in constructing and supervising sizable gaming and hospitality ventures. Dino Beltran, the Vice Chairman of the Koi Nation, underscored the common principles held by both tribes and emphasized the project’s significance for their financial independence.

Situated in Sonoma County, the Shiloh Resort & Casino will be a notable enhancement to the region. The resort will encompass a casino housing 2,500 slot machines, a 200-room hotel, diverse dining choices, a conference facility, and a spa.

The prosperity of our people here in the Cherokee Nation is paramount,” stated Chief Executive Bill John Baker. “We are dedicated to collaborating with our partners and supporters – from neighboring towns to the state administration and further – to ensure this endeavor advantages all. We anticipate this undertaking will be a significant gain for the area, generating fresh employment and capital while stimulating visitor trade.”
