The National Hockey League (NHL) has joined forces with Tipsport, a wagering company, in a new regional agreement.
This multi-year pact designates Tipsport as the official sports betting partner of the NHL in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Tipsport will be permitted to utilize the NHL brand in their digital betting offerings in both nations. They will also gain visibility for their brand on the Czech and Slovak versions of the NHL.com website.
Tipsport will also gain access to all the game data from the NHL’s new “Hockey and Player Tracking” technology. This will aid them in enhancing their in-game statistics and live wagering choices.
“The sports betting realm provides us with an opportunity to leverage the NHL’s technology and data to connect with our supporters in the Czech Republic and Slovakia,” stated John Lewicki, NHL Vice President of Business Development and International Partnerships.
“Tipsport is a frontrunner in sports betting within the Czech and Slovak marketplaces. They are the ideal partner for us to enter this portion of Europe and reach a greater number of our global fans.”
Tipsport has joined forces with Nova Sport TV, the NHL’s broadcasting partner in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. This collaboration encompasses sponsorship and advertising during Nova Sport TV’s NHL broadcasts and programs. Tipsport will also have a presence in Nova Sport TV’s NHL studio.
